NEW DELHI: The University of Delhi will conduct the students’ union elections (DUSU) for the 2024-25 session on September 27. DU has announced the schedule for DUSU elections 2024 and central council membership. Accordingly, candidates can file nominations on September 17. The nomination papers can be downloaded from the official website of the university, du.ac.in.
Interested candidates will have to submit the nomination papers along with a demand draft of Rs 500 and affidavit to the office of the chief election officer . For the central council member elections, candidates will be required to submit the papers in the respective colleges or departments.
As per the election schedule, the voting timings will be 8:30 am to 1 pm for students of day colleges and 3 pm to 7:30 pm for those taking evening classes.

DU has asked candidates to place the prescribed nomination papers for the office bearers of DUSU in the sealed box kept in the office of election officer between 10 am to 5 pm on any working day.
Delhi University further informed that the Code of Conduct, constitution of DUSU, and the decision of the Supreme Court regarding students’ union election and NGT order can be viewed on the official website.
