NEW DELHI: Students are unhappy and disappointed with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)’s plan to conduct board exams only once a year from the next academic session. While some called it an “experiment” of the board, others asked CBSE to rather focus on term 2 board exams 2022 urging for the exam pattern in term 2 similar to term 1.

Some students demanded multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in CBSE term 2 board exams and said, “Instead of Thinking and planning for next year. CBSE should understand the issues #Students are facing!”

A Twitter user said, “India has once again started reporting surge in covid 19 cases in that case irresponsible to hold CBSE board exams. Students lives matters.”

A student tweeted, “Well, there are experiments in #education and education in experiments. And we all know the guinea pigs.”

Another student said in a tweet, “we're the only 10th batch writing 2 terms of boards...? 2021-22 is the most experimented batch of all times- #CBSE”

Another Twitter user said, “Congratulations batch 2022-23 you are lucky. CBSE had enmity with our batch only.”

On the contrary, a student wrote “And as the norms go, ICSE will also do the same.. Its actually good to return to this single board exam system , coz this year's board results have been a massacre.”
