GATE 2021 answer key challenge begins at gate.iitb.ac.in; Know steps to apply

Try NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, has started the GATE 2021 answer key challenge facility. Candidates can challenge the GATE answer key online on the official website gate.iitb.ac.in from March 2 to 4, 2021. Candidates can also visit the GOAPS portal at appsgate.iitb.ac.in for the GATE 2021 to raise an objection.
Candidates should know that they also need to submit the description/ proof supporting their challenge without which their challenge of the answer key of GATE 2021 will not be considered. To raise an objection, candidates also need to pay a fee of Rs 500 per question.
How to challenge GATE 2021 answer key
- Open the GATE 2021 official website gate.iitb.ac.in
- Click on the “GATE 2021 answer key challenge” link
- Login using the required credentials
- Question IDs along with the correct answer ID and the option IDs will be displayed on the screen
- Select the question and option ID which need to be challenged
- Write the description supporting the challenge
- Pay the required fee to submit the challenge.
Final GATE 2021 answer keys will be published around March 18, 2021, after the GATE 2021 committee review all challenges. If any challenge is accepted by the committee, a full refund will be made to the candidate for the respective accepted challenge, after the publication of the final answer keys. However, no refund will be made to the candidate for those challenges which are not accepted.
GATE 2021 answer key was released on February 26 . The result of GATE 2021 will be released on March 22.
