NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-B) has released the qualifying cutoff of GATE 2021 along with the result on the official website. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of the GATE 2021 qualifying cutoff are eligible to participate in GATE COAP and CCMT counselling.

Candidates will have to separately apply for COAP and CCMT counselling in order to get admission to the participating institutes. It must be noted the COAP is conducted for admission to IITs while CCMT counselling is conducted for admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFITs.
After the counselling process, the individual institutes will release the GATE admission cutoff 2021 for the final seat allotment of candidates. The authorities consider various factors for determining the GATE admission cutoff like number of seats, scores of candidates, choices of candidates. On the other hand, the qualifying cutoff, which is now available, is calculated by considering factors like difficulty level of exam, number of students appeared in exam, previous year cutoff trends.

IIT Delhi will be conducting GATE 2021 COAP counselling from May 13. Candidates will be required to do GATE COAP 2021 registrations which will start tentatively in the third or fourth week of March.
