GATE 2022 application form tomorrow at gate.iitkgp.ac.in; Check points to remember

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur will release the GATE 2022 application form tomorrow, September 2, at gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to complete GATE registration 2022 till September 24. GATE 2022 registration last date is September 24, 2021. Earlier, the GATE 2022 application form was to be released on August 30 but the authorities had postponed the start of the process to September 2.

It should be noted that the candidates will also be able to fill the application form for GATE 2022 with a late fee of Rs 500 from September 25 to October 1. Candidates should keep the following points in mind while filling the GATE application form at GATE 2022 official website- gate.iitkgp.ac.in

Documents required: Candidates must keep all the documents required for registration ready with them before starting with the GATE application 2022.

Choice of two papers- Students who wish to appear in two GATE 2022 subject papers should have a primary choice of paper as their default choice. For the choice of second GATE paper, candidates will not be allowed to choose combinations of papers other than that listed on the GATE 2022 official website.

GATE 2022 application fee- Candidates will be required to pay the application fee of GATE 2022 per paper. Thus, those willing to appear for two papers will have to pay for both the subject papers.

Steps to fill GATE 2022 application form

GATE registration 2022- Candidates have to register by entering basic details like name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, etc.

Filling details- Candidates have to login to fill-in all the required details of the GATE application form 2022.

Uploading documents- Scanned images of photograph, signature and other required documents have to be uploaded as specified by the authorities.

Preview of GATE form- Candidates have to check all the entered details in the preview of the GATE application form and edit if required.

Fee payment- Next, application fee of GATE 2022 has to be paid in online mode.

Final submission- Lastly, the GATE 2022 application form has to be submitted.

GATE 2022, conducted by IIT Kharagpur, is scheduled to be held on February 5, 6, 12 and 13. GATE 2022 exam will be held for 29 subject papers and admit cards will be released on the GATE 2022 official website, gate.iitkgp.ac.in, on January 3.
