Try NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur will begin the application correction facility of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2023) today, November 8. Candidates who want to edit category, paper and exam city will be able to modify the details online at gate.iitk.ac.in. Candidates have to login to the candidate portal using credentials to avail GATE application correction 2023 facility. The last date for GATE 2023 application form correction is November 14.
The candidate will have to pay an additional fee to make changes. Candidates must note that they won’t be allowed to edit the form after November 14. Hence, candidates must carefully make changes in the application form before the last date.

How to make changes in the GATE 2023 application form
Candidates can go through the below steps for GATE 2023 application form correction.

Visit the GATE official website - gate.iitk.ac.in.

Log in using enrollment number/email ID and password.

Make the necessary changes in the application form of GATE 2023.

Finally, click on the ‘submit button.
Recently, the IIT Kanpur notified that the Ambajogai city in IIT Bombay zone has been dropped due to operational issues. Candidates who selected Ambajogai city as an exam city while filling out the forms will be able make a choice of new city/cities in place of Ambajogai during GATE 2023 application form correction facility without any fee.
IITK will conduct the GATE 2023 exam to shortlist candidates for admission into various PG courses. Candidates qualifying the GATE exam will also be eligible for various PSU recruitment through GATE exam. The exam is conducted jointly by the seven IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee, and Kanpur) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.
