According to Jagran Josh, IIT Kanpur conducted the GATE 2023 CE2 Shift 2 exams on February 12, 2023. The candidates who appeared for the GATE 2023 exams said that the CE2 paper was moderate in difficulty level.

The GATE 2023 exam yesterday, February 11 was easy, as per students’ reaction. According to exam analysis, the GATE IN question paper was based on the topic of limit, differential equation, Matrix, Maxima & Minima, standard deviation, statistics, and number system.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering

The GATE 2023 civil engineering question paper will be out along with the GATE answer key 2023 on February 21, 2023. Before raising the objection candidates must download the master question paper from GATE official website- gate.iitk.ac.in.

IIT Kanpur will declare the GATE 2023 result online on the official website--  gate.iitk.ac.in 

The GATE 2023 question paper, response sheet and answer key will be released soon by the IIT Kanpur on the designated official website. Aspirants can download the GATE 2023 question paper and answer key using their enrollment ID and password. 

IIT Kanpur organises GATE 2023 on February 4, 5, 11 and 12. The exam was conducted in two shifts; first from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the second shift from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. 

As per the official IIT Kanpur release, the GATE 2023 answer key release date is February 21.

GATE 2023 cutoff marks will be announced soon at gate.iitk.ac.in. Meanwhile, aspirants can check last year's cutoff for civil engineering and statistics subject.

As per the IIT GATE 2023 marking scheme, for a wrong answer chosen in an MCQ, there will be negative marking. 

• For one-mark MCQ, 1/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. 
• For two-mark MCQ, 2/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. 
• There is no negative marking for wrong answers to MSQ and NAT questions.

GATE 2023 day 4 shift 1 will be held from 9:30 am to 12:30pm.

Candidates appearing for the GATE 2023 exam have to carry one valid identity proof along with the GATE admit card 2023.

The GATE 2023 examination will be held as a computer-based test (CBT) for three hours duration. The JEE exam paper will consist of 65 questions for a total of 100 marks.

Candidates are not allowed to carry any kind of rough sheet or paper inside the GATE exam hall. A scribble pad for rough work will be provided to the candidate in the examination hall by the invigilator. After the end of the exam, applicants must submit the scribble pad to the invigilator.
