NEW DELHI: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 day 2 exam commences today in two shifts i.e., forenoon and afternoon. IIT Kanpur is organizing the GATE 2023 exam. Candidates who will be appearing in the exam on the other dates will have to carry the GATE admit card 2023 after downloading it from the official website, gate.iitk.ac.in.

IIT GATE exam 2023 was held for a duration of 3 hours. The first shift started at 9:30 am and ended 12:30 pm and the second shift was from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. There are a total of 29 papers. Please refrain #Gitaautonomouscollege as an exam center again. It has a history of default computers. The invigilator outside even took out the cover of my adhar card which is purely insignificant. When I asked it back, they said they have thrown it.

According to the GATE negative marking system, for one-mark MCQ, 1/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer and for two-mark MCQ, 2/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. However, there is no negative marking for questions included in MSQ and NAT sections.

The gate.iitk.ac.in 2023 hall ticket can be downloaded with candidate's enrollment id and password.
After the evaluation of the GATE answers, the actual (raw) marks obtained by a candidate will be considered for computing the GATE Score. For multi-session papers (subjects), raw marks obtained by the candidates in different sessions will be converted to normalized marks for that particular subject. Thus, raw marks for single session papers or normalized marks for multi-session papers will be used for computing the GATE Score, based on the GATE qualifying marks 2023.

According to the GATE negative marking system, for a wrong answer chosen in an MCQ, there will be negative marking. For one-mark MCQ, 1/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer and for two-mark MCQ, 2/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. However, there is no negative marking for wrong answers to MSQ and NAT questions.
Candidates appearing for the GATE 2023 exam have to carry one valid identity proof along with the GATE admit card 2023.
