GATE 2023 Exam Date
IIT Kanpur will commence the GATE 2023 registration from August 30. The last date to fill the GATE exam 2023 application form without late fee is September 30. GATE 2023 exam date is February 4, 5, 11 & 12. The admit card for GATE exam 2023 will be issued on January 3. The changes introduced in the GATE 2023 examination this year are given below.
GATE 2023 application fee
This year, IIT Kanpur has increased the application fee for the GATE 2023 exam. The application fee for GATE 2023 is increased for all the category candidates. In comparison to previous year, GATE 2023 fee for female candidates has been increased by Rs 100, for SC/STPwD by Rs 100 and for remaining candidates by Rs 2000. The revised application fee of GATE 2023 is mentioned in the table below.

GATE 2023 exam centres
Like previous year, IIT Kanpur has also decreased GATE 2023 exam cities this year. GATE 2023 exam centres are decreased in all the zones except IITB. For more details, candidates can refer to the table below.

GATE 2023 exam timings
GATE exam is conducted in two shifts for all days. As per the previous year trends, shift 1 is conducted from 9 AM to 12 PM and shift 2 from 2 to 5 PM. As per the GATE 2023 notification, IIT Kanpur will conduct the shift 1 exam from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and shift 2 from 2:30 to 5:30 PM.
About GATE exam
GATE full form is "Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering". The exam is conducted to shortlist candidates for admission in PG engineering courses. Candidates can also use GATE exam scores for PSU recruitments.
