Try NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc Bangalore) has released the GATE 2024 answer key on the official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in. The IISC Bangalore has released the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2024) final answer key has been released for 30 subjects.
As per the examination authority website, The GATE 2024 result will be announced on March 16. Students will be able to download the GATE score card from March 23. The score card will be valid for academic year 2024-25 for admission into postgraduate programmes offered by IISc Bangalore, Indian Institutes of Technology and other participating colleges.
The IISc Bangalore has already uploaded the master question papers. The answer Key is matched to the order of questions in the master question paper. Candidates must refer to the master question paper and the associated GATE 2024 final answer key for checking the correct responses.
GATE 2024 marking scheme
As per the exam authority, only one of the given options is the correct answer for multiple-choice questions. For wrong responses, one-third marks will be deducted for one-mark questions, and two-third negative marking for two-mark questions.
For multiple-select questions (MSQs), candidates should have marked all the correct choices and no wrong answer must be chosen by the candidate to get full marks.
For Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions, the candidate’s numerical response must be contained within the range given in the GATE 2024 final answer key to get full marks. There is no negative marking for MSQs and NATs.
GATE 2024 cut-off
The GATE 2024 cut-off scores for various participating institutes will be released after the declaration of GATE 2024 results. Candidates who meet the cutoff scores and other eligibility criteria will be eligible for admission to the postgraduate programmes in various institutes.
