GATE 2024 registration likely to start today at gate2024.iisc.ac.in

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore is likely to commence the registration for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 today, August 30. Eligible students can fill GATE 2024 application form on the official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in. The last date to register for GATE exam 2024 is September 29. Aspirants can also register with a late fee till October 13.

As per the GATE 2024 eligibility criteria, candidates who are currently studying in the third or final year of any undergraduate degree programme or who have completed any government approved degree programme in engineering, technology, science, architecture, or humanities are eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

IISc Bangalore has divided the registration fee into two categories. The application fee for female candidates and aspirants belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) is Rs 900 while all other candidates will have to make a fee payment of Rs 1,800. Applicants will require these documents to fill the form:

• High quality image of candidate’s photograph
• High quality image of candidate’s signature
• Scanned copy of category (SC, ST) certificate in PDF format (if applicable).
• Scanned copy of PwD Certificate in PDF format (if applicable).
• Scanned copy of certificate of Dyslexia in PDF format (if applicable).
• Scanned copy of valid photo identity document: Aadhar-UID (preferable) or passport or PAN card or voter ID or driving license.

GATE 2024 will be conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11. The test will be held in two shifts and the duration of exam will be three hours.
