GATE 2025 admit card release date postponed to January 7; exam begins on February 1

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has postponed the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 admit card release date to January 7, 2025. The GATE 2025 admit card was scheduled to be issued on January 2, 2025. Candidates can download the admit card once the link is active on the official website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

Candidates will be able to download the GATE 2025 admit card using their enrollment ID and password. The exam is scheduled to be held on February 1, 2, 15 and 16, 2025.

Candidates must carry GATE admit card on the exam day to appear for the exam. Candidates must also carry a valid photo ID along with their admit card at the exam centre as proof of their verification.

Candidates will find their name, registration number, GATE paper code, exam centre along with the address, exam timings, candidate photograph and signature, exam day instructions, etc.

The GATE exam is held annually for candidates seeking admission to MTech programmes at Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru (IISc).

Given below are the steps to download the GATE 2025 admit card.

• Visit the official website of GATE 2025 at gate2025.iitr.ac.in

• Click on the GATE 2025 admit card link available

• Enter your login credentials such as enrollment number and password to download the admit card.

• Click on GATE login 2025

• Click on the link for the GATE hall ticket 2025 download button available.

• Your GATE admit card will be downloaded in PDF format.

• Save the admit card and take out a printout to be carried at the exam centre for the GATE exam.
