NEW DELHI: Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2025) exam is scheduled to be held from February 1 to 16. Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) will be conducting the GATE 2025 exam this year.

The GATE exam is conducted annually for candidates seeking admission into Master of Technology (MTech) at Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru (IISc).
The GATE 2025 results, along with the qualifying cutoff, will be announced by the institute on March 19, 2025. Candidates who score above the qualifying cut off will be eligible to participate in the interview process for engineering executive positions in various public sector undertakings (PSUs).
To get admission into IITs, NIT, IISc, candidates will have to score more than the GATE 2025 admission cut-off. Each institute will release a separate GATE 2025 admission cut off and candidates will be invited to participate in the counselling process.
GATE qualifying marks are the minimum cut-off marks required to qualify the entrance test. IIT Roorkee will issue the GATE 2025 qualifying cut off this year The qualifying marks of GATE 2025 will vary for each category.
GATE admission cut-off will be released by the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) and Centralised Counselling for MTech/MArch/MPlan/MDes (CCMT) for admission into IITS, NITs, and IISc.
Candidates who want to get admission into IITs will have to register on the COAP, while those who seeking admission to NITs and IISc need to participate in CCMT counselling. IISc Bangalore will release the GATE 2025 admission cut off on the official website, admissions.nic.in/CCMT.
