NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay conducted the GATE 2021 paper today for seven subjects which include Computer Science (CS), Mathematics (MA), Biotechnology (BT), Chemical Engineering (CH), Engineering Science (XE), Life Science (XL) and Textile engineering (TF). GATE CS 2021, MA, BT CH and TF papers was conducted in morning session whereas GATE XE and XL in the afternoon session. GATE CS, the paper with the highest number of applicants was conducted in both morning and afternoon sessions.

- Difficulty level was higher as compared to the previous year
- There were 13 MSQs
- A total of 14 NAT type questions

Engineering Maths and General Aptitude sections were Easy.
