NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test, or GPAT 2021, in a computer-based mode on February 27 from 3 pm to 6 pm. Most of the aspirants taking the entrance test for MPharm programmes found the exam to be of a “moderate level”.

“Cology, Ceutics and Pharmaceutics sections were easy. A lot of conceptual questions were asked in the question paper” said pharmacy graduate, Giri Raj Bhardwaj, emerging from the GPAT exam centre.

Applications for Admissions are open.

A total of 125 multiple choice questions were asked in GPAT 2021 from BPharm sections, carrying a total of 500 marks. The pharmacy entrance exam scores will be used to conduct admissions to 39,670 Master in Pharmacy (MPharm) seats across 800 participating institutes.

Jasmeet Kaur, another candidate, said: "The paper was of moderate level. Ceutics and Pharmacology were the easiest ones. I expected the question paper to be hard, but that wasn't the case today."

Ritesh, from Rohtak, agreed. said “"The paper was of moderate level, I have attempted 60 questions. Pharmaceutics and Chemistry had 38 questions, Cology had 28. Cology and Ceutics were the easiest ones. I am expecting to clear the exam with good scores,”

Harikishan, who appeared for the exam for the second time said: "The difficulty level of the exam was the same as the previous year. The question paper had a lot of indirect questions. Each section was of moderate level."

What’s Next in GPAT 2021?

The NTA is expected to soon release the GPAT 2021 answer key along with the question papers at the official website, gpat.nta.nic.in. However, it has not yet announced the dates for the release of these documents. Once the GPAT answer key 2021 is out, candidates will be able to use it to calculate their probable scores. Those who are not satisfied with the answers displayed in the answer key will have an opportunity to challenge the answers by paying a fee of Rs 1,000 per question.
