NBEMS to conduct GPAT 2026 on March 7; registration begins today

GPAT 2026: Candidates can apply for the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test on the official website, natboard.edu.in, till January 12.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will conduct the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2026 on March 7. The GPAT 2026 registration will begin at 5 pm today, along with the issuance of the information bulletin.
Candidates can apply for GPAT 2026 on the official website, natboard.edu.in, till January 12. NBEMS will declare the GPAT 2026 results on April 7.
GPAT 2026 will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode for a duration of 3 hours. Candidates will be given 125 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with a maximum of 500 marks. As per the marking scheme, four marks will be awarded for each correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.

GPAT 2025 is a national-level examination for candidates seeking admission to the Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) course. GPAT 2026 is held for admission to over 39,000 MPharm seats across 800 institutions in India.
GPAT Eligibility Criteria 2026
The GPAT eligibility criteria 2026 are as follows.
- Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (4 years after class 12).
- Lateral entry candidates can also apply.
- Candidates who are in the final year of the BPharmacy course are also eligible to apply.
- There is no age limit for appearing in GPAT.
