GPSC CCE Class 1, 2 Prelims result 2023 declared; 3,806 candidates qualified

NEW DELHI: The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has declared the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Class 1, 2 prelims result 2023. A total of 3,806 candidates have qualified for appearing in the mains exam. Candidates who appeared for CCE preliminary exam can check their results on the official website – gpsc.gujarat.gov.in.

“The following 3806 candidates are declared provisionally qualified in the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Exam conducted by the Gujarat Public Service Commission on 08.01.2023 for the Advt. No. 20/2022‐23, Gujarat Administrative Service, Class‐1, Gujarat Civil Service, Class 1 & 2 and Gujarat State Municipal Chief Officers’ Service, Class‐2. The candidates are declared provisionally qualified for appearing in the Main Written Examination, subject to their fulfilling all conditions of eligibility of Advt. No. 20/2022-23,” said an official notification.

GPSC informed that these candidates will have to reapply for the GPSC CCE Mains exam.

As per the final answer key declared for paper-1 (CSP-1), two questions have been cancelled. Therefore, GPSC has decided to equally distribute the marks of cancelled questions among 198 questions on pro-rata basis, as such evaluation has been carried out by treating each question with 1.010 mark for the right answer and (-) 0.303 mark for the wrong or multiple encoded or blank answer for paper 1 in this result.

In Paper-2 (CSP-02), four questions are cancelled. Therefore, it is decided by the Commission to equally distribute the marks.
