The GUJCET counselling 2023 registration for admission and payment of online fees started today, May 2. Candidates can complete the registration process till May 22, 2023.

GSEB has announced the GUJCET 2023 result at gseb.org. Candidates can now download the result of GUJCET using the 6-digit seat number.

The GUJCET 2023 counselling registration will begin now. Candidates will have to provide their GUJCET ranks to get admission to the engineering college.

The GUJCET 2023 exam was held on April 3, 2023. In the GUCET exam, a total of 4,183 candidates were absent out of which 2,627 were male candidates and 1,556 were female candidates.

• Morbi: 83.22 percent
• Rajkot: 82.49 percent
• Surat: 71.15 percent
• Ahmedabad: 69.92 percent
• Vadodara: 65.54 percent

Candidates whose names are on the GUJCET merit list 2023 are eligible for the GUJCET counselling and seat allotment process. Candidates will have to register online to participate in the counselling.

The GUJCET 2023 cutoff will be released in the form of opening and closing ranks. The cut-off will be released institute-wise and course-wise. The authorities will consider various factors like the number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, previous year cutoff trends and availability of seats to determine the cut-off.

The GUJCET passing marks out of 120 is 54 for the general category candidates and for the reserved category is 48.

Students of Class 10 and 12 of the Gujarat board, who fail to qualify a paper or two will be eligible to take the compartment exams.

Once the GUJCET results 2023 are declared, candidates will have to register for the counselling process. A total of 18,058 candidates secured above 90 percentile rank under group A, as per the last year’s GUJCET results.

According to the eligibility criteria, 40% weightage in the engineering admission will be given to GUJCET scores and 60% weightage for Class 12 marks. The GUJCET 2023 result date is May 2. 138 universities have opted for GUJCET to grant BTech admission. Of which, there are 16 government engineering colleges.

The GUJCET 2023 question paper had three sections - physics and chemistry was combined in one section, biology and mathematics. Each section had 40 question each. Candidates will be awarded one marks for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response.
