HITS hosts two-day international conference on advances in data engineering and intelligent computing system

NEW DELHI: Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS), a NAAC A+ Deemed- to-be University in Chennai hosted a two-day international conference on “Advances in Data Engineering and Intelligent Computing System (ADICS 2024)”. The conference was held at the HITS Bay Range campus, Padur on April 17 and 18, 2024.

The conference was organised by the department of computer science engineering from the School of Computing Sciences. The ADICS-2024 conference seeks to create an academic platform for promoting the creation of global technological and scientific collaboration.

The International conference emphasizes advances in data engineering and intelligent computer systems, bringing together researchers, scientists, and technologists from around the world to share their research findings, inventions, and innovative applications in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science. Participants will get insight into developing innovations in advanced Informatics and their applications, allowing for in-depth exploration and discussions.

Participants from abroad

Participants from Singapore, the United States, Australia, Malaysia, Dubai, and numerous other nations will be in attended the conference. Centered on the advancement and practical application of computer science and intelligent systems, the conference showcases 16 plenary talks, 4 invited speeches, and presents 198 selected papers out of a total of 796 submissions.

All research papers showcased at ADICS will be published in IEEE Digital Explore, while the conference proceedings will be indexed in the Scopus database.

Diverse tracks covered

The ADICS conference encompasses a wide range of tracks, including Computational Intelligence, Data Analytics, Security and Privacy, Image Processing, Bioinformatics, Artificial Intelligence Solutions, IoT, Social Networking, Intelligence Techniques, Autonomic Computing, Human-Computer Interaction, and Cognitive Computing.

Conclusion with knowledge sharing

The conference features session on such as "Database and AI Learning" by Ling Tok Wang, Emeritus Professor at the National University of Singapore, and on "Artificial Intelligence in Cyber Security" by Ammar Alazab from Torrens University, Australia, and "Bioinformatics and Computation" by R A Robert Sam, senior principal scientist at CSIR-CSIO, Chennai. The event concludes with a knowledge-sharing session on "Cognitive Artificial Intelligence" by Ebenezer Isaac, senior AI technical product manager at Ericsson Pvt Ltd.
