HPCET Answer Key 2023: Last date to raise objections today; here's how to challenge

NEW DELHI: The Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HIMTU) will be closing facility to raise objections against the Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) 2023 answer key today, May 17, 2023. Candidates that wish to raise observations can do so till 5 PM today. The HPCET 2023 exam was held on May 14, 2023.

Candidates will be able to challenge the HPCET answer key 2023 by visiting the Controller of Examinations (COE) office personally or by emailing on coehimtu@gmail.com. Candidates must remember that they are required to attach relevant proof for the correct answer.

Candidates will have to forward their observations, if any to the- Controller of Examinations, H.P. Technical University, Gandhi Chowk, Hamirpur (H.P.)-177001. The university will not be entertained after the due date and time, said the university. HIMTU will be declaring the HPCET 2023 result based on the final answer key along with a merit list of candidates after which students will be able to take admissions in UG, PG programmes in HIMTU.

Steps to challenge HPCET answer key 2023?

Candidates can download the HPCET 2023 answer key from the official website- himtu.ac.in.

• The university will allow candidates to challenge the provisional answer key. After considering the challenges, authorities will then release the final answer key of HPCET 2023.
• Candidates can raise objections either personally or through e-mail coehimtu@gmail.com.
• To challenge the answer key, candidates have to forward their written complaints along with supporting documents pertaining to the question paper/answer key at the office of the Controller of Examinations, H.P. Technical University, Gandhi Chowk, Hamirpur (H.P.)-177001.
• Candidates should forward their written complaints within the given time period.

The university will prepare a merit list of all qualified candidates on the basis of their marks in qualifying marks and separate merit of JEE Main (for JEE Main applicants)
