HRD Minister launches Symbiosis International (Deemed University) campus in Noida

NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 24: Symbiosis International (Deemed University)’s new state-of-art Noida campus was inaugurated by Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank', Minister of Human Resource Development at Sector 62 in Noida. Headquartered in Pune, Symbiosis started its Off Campus Centre at Noida with two schools viz- Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies (SCMS) and Symbiosis Law School (SLS) in 2010. Symbiosis Law School, Noida and Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Noida have moved to this newly built infrastructure.
During the inauguration, Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' said, “Indian education system can aspire to greatness only if it is rooted in Indian ethos and culture. Education is the foundation of any progressive nation and teachers are the powerhouse of the society who mould and shape the future of students to become productive citizens of tomorrow and inculcate positive thinking and cultural ethos in them so that they can be an asset to the society, having both vision and a mission. Symbiosis University has achieved it by meeting the changing dynamics with regard to imparting quality education, innovation and research."
Spread over 10 acres of land in a prime location of Noida, the Wi-Fi enabled campus comprises of well-furnished, spacious classrooms and lecture halls fitted with LCD projectors, overhead projectors, the facility of collar microphones and a Public Address System, enriched library and reading room, student Interaction Lounge, a multi-cuisine cafeteria and a mess, Students’ Activity Centre, Indoor Games Room, Conference Room, Reprography Centre, Health Care Centre with gymnasium, aerobics hall and primary care facilities along with additional residential facilities for students.
Dr. S.B. Mujumdar, Founder and Chancellor, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) said, “Symbiosis is a term derived out of Botany, which means two different community that co-exists. There is need for everyone to be in-sync to co-exist and grow. Symbiosis also means promoting international understanding through quality education and education is the only medium to promote understanding of International culture. As an educationist, I value humility, simplicity which can help an individual to make a valuable contribution to society. An inclination towards spirituality in one’s life supports the person achieve the path of success. We use several interdisciplinary and global approaches while the students are pursuing a course.”
SCMS Noida offers a three year BBA program, with a strong thrust on practical knowledge and sound conceptual inputs, students are well trained and progress in life, be it in higher education, the corporate world or in entrepreneurship. SLS Noida promises to be one of the finest destinations for imparting legal education in India and offers BA LLB, BBA LLB & LLM.
