Download EBookNEW DELHI: Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) will close the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2024 application today, May 17. Candidates who have registered for the entrance exam can edit their IAT 2024 application form by visiting the official website, iiseradmission.in.
The IAT 2024 admit card will be issued on June 1. The IAT 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on June 9 from 9 am onwards. The IAT 2024 is conducted to determine eligibility for the BS-MS (dual degree) and BS degree programs spanning five and four years at IISER Berhampur, IISER Bhopal, IISER Kolkata, IISER Mohali, IISER Pune, IISER Thiruvananthapuram, and IISER Tirupati.
IAT 2024 Application Correction Window: Editable fields
The IAT 2024 application correction window enables candidates to adjust their personal details, educational qualifications, exam center preferences, and other pertinent information. Additionally, candidates can upload or replace documents, certificates, marksheets, photos. However, certain fields cannot be edited during this correction period, including the applicant's name, primary email ID, primary phone number, date of birth, gender, category (such as General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), citizenship status (whether Indian Citizen, OCI, foreign national), and confirmation of having mathematics as a subject in Class 12 (or equivalent).

IAT 2024 exam pattern
The IAT 2024 will be held in a computer-based test conducted across various centers in India. It will consist of 60 questions, with 15 questions in each subject area: biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics. All questions will be multiple-choice, with only one correct answer per question. The duration of the exam will be three hours. Candidates will earn four marks for each correct answer but will receive a negative mark of one for incorrect answers. The IAT 2024 exam carries a total of 240 marks.
