IBPS PO 2021 exam begins; Know guidelines and things to carry at exam centre

New Delhi: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has begun the IBPS PO 2021 exam today across various exam centres across the country. The IBPS PO 2021 exam is to be conducted online on December 4 & 11. All the precautionary measures are being used by the authorities to keep a safe and secure environment for the candidates and invigilators at the exam centre. IBPS has ensured that the candidates follow all guidelines strictly.

The detailed information related to the exam day guidelines were specified on the IBPS PO admit card 2021 . As per the IBPS PO prelims exam pattern 2021, there will be 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying one mark each. The questions will be asked from sections including reasoning ability, quantitative aptitude, and english. 1/4th of the marks will be reduced for every incorrect answer.

IBPS PO 2021 exam day guidelines:

Candidates need to follow all exam day guidelines and special COVID-19 instructions as prescribed by the IBPS. Here are some of the important exam-day instructions that should be followed by the candidates.

• All the candidates are being checked before entering the exam centre thoroughly.

• Sanitizers are provided at all the major points at the exam center.

• Jewellery or clothes with metal buttons are not permitted to wear inside the exam centre.

• Candidates are permitted to bring a transparent water bottle, hand sanitizer (50ml), and mask inside the examination hall.

• No electronic devices are permitted in the exam hall such as calculators, mobile phones, digital watches, etc,

• Candidates are needed to maintain proper social distancing at the exam centre.

• No candidates are allowed to leave the exam centre before the conclusion of the examination.

IBPS PO examination is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) as a computer-based mode for the recruitment of 11 participants banks. As per the IBPS PO 2021 exam pattern, there will be three stages such as prelims, main and interview round.
