ICAI CA Foundation exam concludes; Paper 1 to be reconducted for some students

ICAI has managed to complete the CA Foundation 2021 exams amid COVID-19 pandemic as per the scheduled dates.
NEW DELHI:
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has completed the administration of the CA Foundation exams 2021 for the May session on July 30, 2021. The CA Foundation exams were conducted paper-wise on different dates from July 24-30, 2021 (2 to 5 pm).

can be availed by all students before July 30, 2021 (7 pm).

Earlier, ICAI had notified that students residing in the cities of Ichalkaranji, Kolhapur, Ratnagiri, Sangli and Satara will be given another chance to appear in Paper 1 - Principles and Practice of Accounting. The students in these locations were affected by adverse weather conditions. Fresh exam date of CA Foundation Paper 1 for these candidates will be notified shortly by ICAI.
Due to the COVID situation prevailing across the country, a plea was also filed in the SC to postpone the exams. However, the court permitted ICAI to go ahead with the exams while asking it to devise a comprehensive opt-out option for the July exams.
ICAI conducted CA Intermediate and Final exams from July 5-20 in pen paper based mode. The exams were conducted in various examination centres across the country and abroad.
