ICSE Class 10 Board Exam 2026 LIVE: CISCE biology paper today; timings, guidelines, paper analysis

ICSE Class 10 Biology Paper 2026: Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will administer the ICSE Class 10 Biology exam today, March 13. As per the official schedule, the paper will be conducted from 11 am to 1 pm.

The ICSE Class 10 board examinations 2026 are being conducted from February 17 to March 30. Before the writing time begins, students will be given 15 minutes to read the question paper carefully.

For the Biology exam, the question papers will be distributed at 10:45 am, while candidates must be seated inside the examination hall by 10:30 am.

ICSE Class 10 Biology Question Paper Analysis 2026

ICSE Biology Paper 2026: Passing marks

The CISCE is expected to declare the ICSE Class 10 board exam results 2026 between April and May. To pass the ICSE Class 10 Biology paper, students must secure at least 35 marks out of 100.

Students must also clear a minimum of five subjects, including English, to successfully pass the ICSE Class 10 board examinations. The Biology paper carries a total of 100 marks, consisting of:

• 80 marks for the written theory examination

• 20 marks for practicals conducted by the school

ICSE Class 10 Biology 2026: Exam guidelines

Students appearing for the ICSE Class 10 Biology board exam should follow the instructions issued by CISCE to avoid any issues at the exam centre:

• Admit card requirement: Candidates must carry a hard copy of their admit card for every exam. Entry into the examination hall will not be allowed without it.

• Uniform and writing materials: Students must attend the exam in complete school uniform and write their answers using blue or black ballpoint pens, while pencils should be used only for diagrams.

• Reporting time: Candidates should reach the examination centre 30–45 minutes before the exam starts. Students arriving more than 30 minutes late may be denied entry.

• Reading time rules: The 15-minute reading period before the exam begins should be used to go through the question paper and plan answers. Writing during this time is not allowed.

• Prohibited items: Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall and may lead to disqualification if carried.
