NEW DELHI: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has announced that it will hold a re-exam for the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) May 2024 session tomorrow. The decision to conduct one more exam for ICSI CSEET 2024 exam as some candidates faced technical issues while attempting the exam.

The CSEET 2024 examination was conducted on May 4 through remote proctored mode. “To facilitate such candidates, the Institute is giving one more chance to appear in the same. The Test will be conducted on Monday, 06th May 2024. In case the concerned candidates will not appear in the test scheduled to be held on Monday, 06th May 2024, they will be marked absent for the CSEET,” the officials announced.

Candidates appearing for the exam tomorrow should note that the batch timings, user ID and password will be shared through their respective e-mail address and through SMS. They are advised to take the test using the credentials provided through their email address.

“Also download the latest version of mandatory Safe Exam Browser (SEB) in advance in your laptop/desktop from which you will be appearing in CSEET,” it added.

Aspirants will have to obtain a minimum of 40% marks in each paper; there are a total of 4 papers. Additionally, they should score 50% marks in aggregate when all papers are put together for passing the CSEET. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers, as per the marking scheme.

As per the guidelines, candidates are not allowed to use mobile, earphone, headphone or any other gadget including pager, digital diary, scientific or programmable calculator, bluetooth, Palmtop, smart watch, Health Band.

They are also prohibited from referring to books or using paper, pen, pencil, writing pad etc. Students should also make sure that no other person is present in the room while taking the exam. Moreover, taking photograph, screen shots while attempting the exam is strictly prohibited.
