IGNOU Admission 2024: Last date to apply for January session extended till February 15

NEW DELHI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for fresh admission 2024 for the January session till February 15. Eligible students who have not applied yet can fill the IGNOU application form 2024 through the official website, ignou.ac.in. Earlier, the last date to apply was January 31.

“The extension of the last date for “fresh admission offered in ODL/Online Mode for the January, 2024 session” for all programmes till 15th February, 2024,” said IGNOU in an X post.

The university hosts separate links for admission to online and ODL programmes. In case of fresh admission for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes, students will have to register at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in and for admission to online courses, candidates will be required to apply at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.

IGNOU Admission 2024: Important instructions

The university issued the following instructions for candidates for registration:

• Provide the correct email ID and mobile number
• Choose the courses carefully after reading the programme details.
• Exercise due caution in paying the fee
• Don’t wait for the last date of submission of application form
• Make payments via credit card, debit card, or net banking

The documents required for IGNOU registration 2024 are:

• Scanned photograph (less than 100 KB)
• Scanned signature (less than 100 KB)
• Scanned copy of relevant educational qualification (less than 200 KB)
• Scanned copy of experience certificate (if any) (less than 200 KB)
• Scanned copy of category certificate, if SC/ST/OBC (less than 200 KB)
