NEW DELHI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has declared the IGNOU 2024 BEd, PhD, BSCN result today, February 28, 2024. Candidates who have appeared for the IGNOU entrance exam 2024 can access and download the result from the official website - ignou.ac.in. The IGNOU BEd examination was conducted on January 7 in online mode.

Candidates will require their login credentials such as registration number and password to download the IGNOU entrance exam result 2024 for BEd, PhD, BSCN programmes. The IGNOU 2024 result will include details such as name, roll number, registration number, score, and rank.

IGNOU BEd Result 2024: Tie-breaking rule

If two applicants receive the same rank in IGNOU BEd 2024, the following factors will be utilised in breaking the tie:

• Candidates who achieved more than 50% in their postgraduate programme get two points.
• Candidates who achieved more than 50% in their undergraduate programme get one point.
• If the tie remains, higher-scoring contenders are given a lead.
• If the tie remains after examining the candidates' qualifications, senior candidates in terms of age will be given priority.
