IGNOU extends exam form, assignment, re-registration deadlines

NEW DELHI : Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for the submission of IGNOU examination forms and assignments for June Term End Examination (TEE). According to the IGNOU officials, candidates can now submit the IGNOU 2020 examination form and IGNOU assignments for June TEE till July 15. Earlier, the last date for the submission of the exam forms and assignments was June 30. This means that candidates have not got another 15 days to submit their forms and IGNOU assignments. Thus, candidates who have not submitted their IGNOU assignment and examination forms must do it before the last date.
Further, the varsity has also extended the last date for IGNOU re registration to July 31 for July 2020 session. Earlier, the last date for IGNOU re-registration was June 30. So, candidates, who want to continue their studies in the next year/semester have got another full month to re-register themselves.
Indira Gandhi National Open University has started the IGNOU admission process for July 2020 session from June 6 online, at ignou.ac.in. Candidates aspiring for July 2020 session can apply at the varsity till July 31.
The university conducts two admission cycles January and July and for these admission cycles, IGNOU conducts Term End Examination (TEE) in June & December. There’s no entrance test for admission to most of the programmes at IGNOU, except programmes like B.ED/M.Phil/PhD./MBA for which entrance exams are held. Admission to rest all courses is offered based on the marks of the candidates in the qualifying examination.
IGNOU offers admission to around 277 diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, certificates, post PG programmes. Around 3 million students are said to be enrolled in different programmes at IGNOU.
