IGNOU is offering the BA course in ODL mode. Class 12 graduates are eligible to apply

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has come up with a new undergraduate degree - Bachelor of Arts (BA) in journalism and digital media (BAFJDM). The programme is delivered by the school of journalism and new media studies (SOJNMS) through the open and distance learning (ODL) mode.
The IGNOU BA journalism and digital media programme will have a flexible duration of three to six years. It is a Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP) under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Any candidate who has cleared Class 12 or equivalent is eligible to apply for the course. There is no age restriction. The programme will be fully delivered in the English language.
According to an official statement, the new course at IGNOU aims to equip learners with a “robust understanding of journalism alongside practical and theoretical knowledge of digital media”. The programme offers an interdisciplinary curriculum which will focus on:
