IGNOU PhD Admission: NTA releases exam city centres for entrance test

IGNOU PhD Entrance Test: NTA will release admit card soon. PhD entrance exam is scheduled for February 24.
NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released exam centres allotted to the candidates appearing for the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) PhD entrance exam 2021. The entrance test for admission to various PhD courses in IGNOU is scheduled to be held on February 24, 2022.

“Advance Intimation Slip informing the candidates of the allotment of the exam city has been hosted on ignou.nta.nic.in. The candidates are required to check/download the same using their application number and date of birth from the website,” said NTA in an official notification.
Candidates may please note that this is not the admit card for PhD entrance examination. This is only an advance intimation of the exam city allotted where the examination centre will be located, to facilitate the candidates, it added.

The Agency said that IGNOU PhD entrance exam admit card will be released soon. It advised candidates to regularly check its website for further information.
Earlier, NTA postponed the IGNOU PhD entrance exam from January 16 to February 24, 2022. NTA will conduct the IGNOU Ph.D entrance exam 2021 for a duration of 180 minutes.

The IGNOU admit card 2021 for PhD programmes will mention various important details like candidate’s name, their enrollment number, control number, exam centre code, exam centre address, course code, exam date, sessions, session timings/duration, remarks and exam Instructions.
