IIM Ahmedabad concludes PGP 2026 final placements; 144 recruiters hire across three clusters

The IIM Ahmedabad's third cluster saw high number recruiters, including Accenture Technology, Thriveni, Cisco Systems, EXL, Cognizant, offering "dream" packages, the management institute said.
The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad) has concluded the third cluster of its placement process for the PGP Class of 2026. A total of 144 firms participated across three clusters and offered both national, international placements.
The third cluster for the IIM Ahmedabad’s placement process saw participation from 69 firms, including several new companies such as Accenture Technology, Emergent Labs, Kimbal, Lyric, Shadowfax, Teradata, Thriveni, and Virtual Galaxy along with regular recruiters such as Cisco Systems, Cognizant and EXL.
Thriveni emerged as the largest recruiter in the IIM Ahmedabad’s third cluster, offering the highest number of placements. Intertec Systems also offered an international placement package.
Other top firms included Cisco Systems, Cognizant, and EXL, Accenture Technology, Emergent Labs, Kimbal, Lyric, Shadowfax, Teradata, and Virtual Galaxy.
“The cluster also saw a significant number of dream applications, underscoring the effectiveness of the cluster–cohort system in enabling strong student–recruiter fit,” according to an official statement.

IIM Ahmedabad Placements: Essar Group top recruiter in cluster 2
The second cluster placement process for IIM Ahmedabad was held across six cohorts, including advertising and amp, media and conglomerate, and consumer goods, consumer services, pharmaceuticals, health care, retail B2B and B2C.
Around 29 firms took part in the second cluster, including DAMAC (Dubai) and Fast Retailing (Tokyo), offering international packages through the process.
The first timers for the IIM Ahmedabad’s second cluster placement were Hindustan Unilever and Procter, Gamble, Berger Paints. The process also witnessed participation from Aditya Birla Group, Reliance Group and Tata Administrative Services, with Godrej and Murugappa Group.
Notably, Essar Group offered the highest number of placement in this cohort. Airtel was a leading recruiter in the consumer services stream.
Boston Consulting, McKinsey in cluster 1
The management institute welcomed 47 recruiters in its first cluster of the placement process for the Class of 2026.
The firms participating in Cluster 1 were organised into six cohorts, spreading across various streams, including investment banking and markets, management consulting, transformation and operations consulting, advisory consulting, cards and financial advisory, and private equity, venture capital & asset management.
Several companies took part in the recruitment process virtually, while others were present at the venue as the entire process was held in hybrid mode.
Boston Consulting Group emerged as the largest recruiter in the management consulting cohort alongside marquee recruiters such as Alvarez and Marsal, Bain and Company, Kearney, and McKinsey and Company.
