IIM Ahmedabad launches 8-month executive programme in healthcare services management; fee Rs 3.90 lakh

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad) has launched an Executive Programme in Healthcare Services Management (EPHSM) for working professionals. Interested individuals can apply for the IIM Ahmedabad’s 8-month executive programme through the official website at iima.ac.in by May 13.

The healthcare services programme is designed for professionals and administrators across public and private sectors. It aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to deliver efficient, effective, and sustainable healthcare services.

The programme includes a blended learning format, combining live online sessions with campus immersion modules in the management institute.

IIM Ahmedabad will start the weekly online sessions for the executive programme from May 28. Candidates will have to attend online live classes every Saturday, along with scheduled campus modules during the programme duration.

The executive programme in healthcare services is launched by IIM Ahmedabad, in collaboration with Jaro Education as the marketing partner.

IIM Ahmedabad's EPHSM Programme 2026: Eligibility, fee

According to the eligibility criteria, those with at least three years of professional experience in the healthcare field can apply.

Moreover, the management programme is open for medical and non-medical professionals, including healthcare, administrators, consultants, and aspiring entrants in the healthcare sector.

The duration of the EPHSM programme is 8-month and the course fee is Rs 3.90 lakh plus GST. Eligible individuals can apply for the healthcare management course by paying a requisite fee of Rs 2,000 plus GST, IIM Ahmedabad said in an official statement.

The course curriculum includes healthcare operations, finance, marketing, strategy, and data analytics. Participants will be given training on emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), telemedicine, and digital health systems.

They will also be equipped with case-based pedagogy with inputs from IIMA faculty and industry practitioners.

Those who will complete the healthcare management programme from IIMA will gain the ability to align strategy, operations, and technology to deliver patient-centric care, as well as improving efficiency and outcomes.

“With a strong focus on practical application, participants can immediately translate learning into workplace impact and drive meaningful improvements in healthcare delivery, “ the management institute said.

“With initiatives such as Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) and growing emphasis on patient-centric care, healthcare organisations are seeking leaders who can effectively manage operations, strategy, and innovation,” it added.
