IIM Bangalore PGP Placements 2023-25: Accenture Strategy emerged as the top recruiter by making 75 job offers. Management Consulting remains the top career choice among students.

NEW DELHI: All 595 students who took part in the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM Bangalore) lateral and final placements held for the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) and the Post Graduate Programme in Business Analytics (PGPBA) got placed in 176 firms.
Management Consulting remains the top career choice among students, accounting for 41% of the offers, IIM Bangalore placement report reveals. This was followed by technology, product management and investment banking sectors.
Students of PGP and PGPBA Class of 2023-25 of IIM Bangalore were also recruited by prominent sectors including FMCG, Retail, E-commerce, Conglomerates, Fintech, Healthcare, and Manufacturing, spanning functions such as strategy, finance, marketing, general management, product management, operations, and analytics.

According to the Student Placement Committee, “With the largest batch among all IIMs, this placement season witnessed strong participation from both legacy as well as new recruiters, with about 30% being first-time recruiters. We also secured 100+ offers in the Lateral Placement Process (for candidates with more than 18 months of work experience), the highest among the top B-schools in India. This season stands as a testament to our Institute’s strong industry standing and the deep trust recruiters place in our students.”
Accenture Strategy emerged as the top recruiter by making 75 job offers. Other top recruiters include Boston Consulting Group (25), TCS Management Consulting (24), American Express (20), Bain & Company (17), PwC (16), McKinsey & Company (14), as per the institute.

Professor Nishant Verma, Chairperson of Career Development Services, IIM Bangalore, said: “Despite being a challenging year for the job market around the world, IIM Bangalore conducted the process very efficiently.
