Use NowNEW DELHI: Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 slot 1 exam begins. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore is conducting the MBA entrance examination today in three different slots. CAT 2022 slot 1 exam which started at 8.30 AM will conclude at 10:30 AM.

More than 2.5 lakh candidates are expected to appear in this year’s IIM CAT 2022 in 438 test centers in 151 cities across the country. The afternoon and evening session exam timings are 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM (second shift) and 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM (third shift).
IIM Bangalore has announced the CAT 2022 exam day instruction, dress code and important guidelines to be followed on the official website, iimcat.ac.in.
CAT 2022 exam day guidelines
Here’s a list of important instructions to be followed by candidates while appearing for IIM MBA entrance exam.
- Before leaving for the CAT 2022 test centre, candidates have to carry their CAT admit card 2022, original ID proof.
- Affix the photograph in the space provided on the Admit Card before handing over for verification at the test centre.
- Report at the Test Centre based on the reporting time that you receive by SMS and email the previous day. However, please report not later than 8:15 AM for the forenoon session, 12:15 noon for the afternoon session and 4:15 PM for the evening session.
- Cooperate with exam centre staff during document verification and frisking.
- Barcode printed on the admit card will be scanned at the scanning desk. Location of test lab will be communicated after scanning the Barcode.
- IIM CAT 2022 admit card, duly signed in the presence of the invigilator, should be dropped in the box provided before leaving the Test Lab.
CAT 2022: Dress code, don’t on exam day
Candidates are advised to go through the dress code and exam day instructions given below to prevent cancellation of candidature.
- Attempting to appear for CAT 2022 test more than once is not allowed. Candidature will be cancelled if a candidate is found to appear for the test multiple times.
- Do not carry any prohibited items such as electronic gadgets etc. inside the Test Lab.
- Do not attempt to cheat or copy answers from others during the Test.
- Do not involve yourself in any arguments with other Candidates or Test Centre staff. Decisions of concerned authority will be treated as final on the Test Day.
- Do not wear any jewelry (or any items containing metal), shoes or footwear with thick soles, and garments with large buttons inside the Test Lab.
- Mobile phones, electronic gadgets, watches, calculators, own stationery items, pens, wallets, and goggles are strictly not allowed in the exam centre.
