IIM Lucknow invites applications for 2-year MBA for working professionals; eligibility
IIM Lucknow will close the application window for MBA admission for working professionals on November 20. Know course and eligibility details.

NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) has invited applications for its two-year, alternate weekend MBA programme for working executives, entrepreneurs, and professionals. The Postgraduate Programme in Management for Working Executives (PGPWE) will be conducted at the IIM-Lucknow’s Noida campus.
The last to apply for IIM Lucknow’s PG management programme for working professionals at the official website, iiml.ac.in/wmp-instructions, is November 20.
S Venkataramanaiah, chairperson of admissions at the Noida campus, IIM Lucknow, said: "The PGPWE program offers highly rewarding career growth without requiring participants to leave their current jobs. It exposes them to global business trends through a two-week international immersion module with prestigious business schools in Europe."
The management programme consists of four terms in the first year and three terms in the second year. Learners will have to attend classes every alternate weekend, arriving on Friday afternoon and departing on Sunday evening.
“Each term comprises seven visits spread over a three-month period, offering a variety of electives alongside general modules such as Management Information Systems and Designing Work Organisation,” the institute said.

The programme includes elective courses in decision sciences, business environment, communication, marketing management, and more. Candidates who have enrolled in the programme will have an opportunity to participate in a two-week international immersive experience at one of Europe's top business schools, “providing a cross-cultural understanding of global management challenges”.
IIM Lucknow MBA Admission: Eligibility
- Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline and have a minimum of three years of full-time work experience
- Admission requires a valid Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), Graduate Record Examinations (GRE), Common Admission Test (CAT), or a Graduate AptitudeTest for Engineering (GATE) score.
- Candidates can opt for the PGPWE Entrance Exam scheduled for December 17 to be held at IIM Lucknow's Noida Campus. Those shortlisted in the written test will have to participate in a personal interview.
The programme has students from diverse backgrounds with work experience ranging from 4 to 19 years in IT, banking, consulting, sales, and marketing with global companies such as Amazon, Adobe, and Barclays among others.
