IIM Mumbai achieves 100% placement for Batch of 2025; top 10% secure Rs 47.5 LPA
IIM Mumbai Placements 2025: 198 companies participated, leading to a 10% rise in job offers compared to previous year.

NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai achieves 100% placement record for the batch of 2025. As per the IIM Mumbai placement 2025, institute saw a 10% increase in job offers compared to the previous year. A total of 198 companies participated in the IIM Mumbai placement 2025.
In IIM Mumbai placement 2025, top 10% of students secured an average salary of INR 47.5 lakh per annum, while the top 20% and 50% received packages of INR 41.2 lakh and INR 34.1 lakh. In IIM Mumbai placement for the batch of 2025, there was a 5% rise in salary packages compared to previous year.
As per the official statement from the university, the transition from NITIE to IIM Mumbai has contributed to improved placement outcomes.
IIM Mumbai Placement 2025: Top recruiters and first-time participants
Accenture emerged as the leading recruiter with 41 offers and an average package of INR 45.37 lakh. PwC India and PwC US Advisory extended 18 and 10 offers. Other prominent recruiters in IIM Mumbai placement included Alvarez & Marsal, OfBusiness, Vodafone Idea, Workday, and ZS. Over 40 companies participated in the IIM Mumbai placement process for the first time. While in several sectors there was a rising hiring trend some sectors, including FMCG and IT/Technology, saw a decline in hiring.
IIM Mumbai Placements 2025: Sector-wise hiring
In IIM Mumbai placement 2025, several sectors recorded a rise in hiring. The Pharma & Healthcare sector saw a 130% increase in job offers, while Retail & e-Commerce recorded a 47.73% surge. Consulting also experienced a 28.92% rise in hiring.

Curriculum expansion
IIM Mumbai has recently launched 7 online courses . IIM Mumbai has expanded its curriculum to include digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and data analytics, aligning with industry trends. This focus has attracted top recruiters across finance, marketing, sales, and product management domains, as per IIM Mumbai. IIM Mumbai, TalentSprint also collaborated to launch PG diploma in finance economics and management
