IIM Visakhapatnam’s EMBA batch has 147 professionals from different industries; the course will be conducted online.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Visakhapatnam has inaugurated the first batch of students in the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA). The programme is offered to working professionals from different industry fields.
The programme will be offered in blended mode through TimesPro. The coursework will include two five-day in-campus modules. As per the programme chairperson Happy Paul, 147 working professionals are enrolled in EMBA. The enrolled professionals are from manufacturing, consulting, e-commerce, retail, IT, banking, telecommunication and other industries and have an average industry experience of nine years.

The programme was attended by the chairman and independent D Shivakumar, director of Burger King India and operating partner of Advent International, M Chandrashekhar, director of IIM Visakhapatnam and Anish Srikrishna, CEO of TimesPro.
“The programme will help learners understand new-age techniques and practices of business and help them better connect with organisations. Our institution and expert faculty will equip learners with next-gen skills to make a significant social, economic, and environmental impact on the business ecosystem,” said Chandrasekhar.
