NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) has announced the exam schedule for the IISER aptitude test (IAT) 2025 today, February 2, 2025. As per the announcement, the IISER IAT 2025 exam will take place on May 25, 2025. The exam will be held in a single shift from 9 AM.
The institute will commence the IISER IAT 2025 registration process from March 5, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to fill up the IISER application form 2025 by visiting the official website, iiseradmission.in. The last date to register for the IISER aptitude test 2025 is April 15, 2025.
As per the official IISER exam schedule, the IAT 2025 application correction window will be available from April 21 to 22, 2025. IISER IAT hall tickets 2025 will be released on May 15, 2025. The institute will issue the IISER 2025 answer key on May 25, 2025, after the IAT 2025 exam concludes.
IISER IAT 2025: Application fee
Candidates can check the IISER IAT 2025 application fee given below.
- Candidates from the general category, economically weaker section (EWS), other backward classes (OBC), and other backward classes-non-creamy layer (OBC-NCL) are required to pay Rs 2,000.
- Persons with disabilities (PwD), Kashmiri migrants, Kashmiri Pandits, Hindu families (non-migrant), scheduled castes (SC), and scheduled tribes (ST) need to pay Rs 1,000.
- Candidates from foreign nationals are required to pay Rs 12,000.
IISER IAT Admission 2025: Eligibility criteria
Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for the IISER 2025 admission given below.
- The candidates must have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination with science stream from any recognised board.
- Foreign Nationals need to upload an equivalence certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities unless they have passed the Class 12 or equivalent level examination from any board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) in India.
- Candidates must have taken at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics during their Class 12 or equivalent examination.
- Candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD are required to score a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class 12 or equivalent examination.
- Candidates belonging to other categories are required to score a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class 12 or equivalent examination.
- Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 2000. Five years of age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates.
