IIT Bombay Placements 2021: 1,201 job offers and 255 recruiters so far
IIT Bombay placements 2021: Qualcomm made 40 offers followed by Samsung research institute and Intel Corporation.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay placements 2021 are on and entered seventh day with 18 companies participating in the drive.
Around 1,201 offers have been accepted till Day 6 of the IIT Bombay placements 2021 with 255 total companies participating.

240 companies have offered jobs to students till day 6 of the placements. Qualcomm made 40 offers followed by Samsung research institute and Intel Corporation with the highest offers.
The highest international offers made till day 6 are by Rakuten Group hiring 26 students while the highest international salary package received by IIT Bombay students so far is 2,87,550 US Dollars by Uber.

While day one and day two saw 51 and 60 companies participating in the placement drive, day 3 of IIT Bombay placements 2021 witnessed 57 organizations interviewing the students.
Companies like Google, Microsoft, Qualcomm, Boston Consulting Group, Airbus, Bain and company, made the highest number of offers in the domestic sector.

On Day 1, IIT Bombay received 29 international offers with 10 international companies participating in the process.
On Day 2, 60 companies participated in the placement season 2021. While in Slot 2.1, 28 companies participated, the evening slot had 32 companies interviewing candidates.

On Day 3, placement season had 57 companies participating in the process. In Slot 3.1, the institute saw 30 companies and the evening slot had 27 companies interviewing candidates.
The placement process for IIT Bombay started on December 1, 2021. Overall, the IITs are conducting the placement in online mode for the second consecutive year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The institutes also witnessed a surge in the pre-placement offers this year.
