The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has started accepting applications for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED 2027) and the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED 2027) today, October 1. Candidates can apply for the UCEED and CEED 2027 design entrance exams by October 31.

UCEED and CEED 2027 will be held on January 17 in a single shift from 9 am to 12 noon across the country.
Eligible students can apply for UCEED at uceed.iitb.ac.in and for CEED 2027 at ceed.iitb.ac.in by paying the required registration fee.
IIT Bombay conducts the UCEED entrance exam for admission to the bachelor of design (BDes) undergraduate programmes and CEED for admission to master of design (MDes) and PhD postgraduate programmes.

Candidates can apply for UCEED and CEED 2027 programme by paying the late fee till November 6. UCEED and CEED 2027 admit cards will be made accessible on January 1.
Students who have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) in 2026, or are appearing in 2027, in any stream including science, commerce, or arts and humanities, are eligible to appear for UCEED 2027. As per the CEED 2027 eligibility criteria, candidates must have completed a graduate degree, diploma, or postgraduate degree programme having a minimum duration of 3 years (after Class 10+2) or must be appearing for the final examination of such a program by July 2027, or must have passed the 5-year government diploma in art (GD Art) (after Class 10) by July 2027.
