The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has announced the exam dates for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED 2027) and Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED 2027). IIT Bombay will conduct the UCEED and CEED 2027 exam on January 17 in a single shift across the country.

IIT Bombay conducts UCEED exam for admission to bachelor of design (BDes) programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Guwahati, and IIITDM Jabalpur. Similarly, CEED is held for admission to master of design (MDes) courses at various IITs.
IIT Bombay will announce the other important dates for UCEED and CEED exams 2027 by October 2026. Eligible students can apply for UCEED at uceed.iitb.ac.in and for CEED 2027 at ceed.iitb.ac.in by paying the required registration fee.
The number of questions asked and the marks allotted to each set of questions in CEED and UCEED entrance exams are as follows.

For admission to UCEED and CEED courses at IITs, students must qualify for the entrance exam conducted by IIT Bombay. However, several colleges accept UCEED scores, in addition to the IITs and IIITDM Jabalpur.
