IIT Delhi Confers Distinguished Alumnus Award 2018 on Sumant Sinha

NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 5: The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi has conferred Sumant Sinha, Chairman & Managing Director of ReNew Power Limited with the prestigious Distinguished Alumnus Award -2018.
IIT Delhi selected Sumant Sinha for this honour, in recognition of his outstanding contributions in the fields of Corporate Business Development & Entrepreneurship, which have brought glory to the institute.
Sinha received the Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering from IIT Delhi in the year 1987. He also holds a Post Graduate diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and a Masters degree in International Affairs from Columbia University.
Speaking on this recognition, Sumant Sinha said, “I’m honoured to receive this award from my alma mater. This means a lot to me and I will be happy to contribute in any small way towards the institute’s advancement. My experience at the institute equipped me with the skills to engage with the best of minds across the globe and ultimately embark on a successful entrepreneurial journey.”
