NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras will start the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM 2024) correction facility on November 24. The IIT JAM 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 11.
JAM scores are used for admission to programmes such as MSc, MSc Tech, MS Research, MSc-MTech dual degree, Joint MSc - PhD, MSc - PhD dual degree in various institutes. There are around 3,000 seats in postgraduate programmes at 21 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) for the academic year 2024-25. Over 2,000 seats will also be filled in IISc and centralised counselling process.
JAM 2024 examination will be conducted in around 100 cities in India on February 11.
Candidates who have already submitted an IIT JAM application form at joaps.iitm.ac.in will be able to edit details in case of an error by paying applicable fees. Fees for changing examination cities, test papers, category, gender is Rs 300 apart from the applicable difference in application fee.
Candidates who have wrongly entered the category or gender will be also be allowed to change by paying extra fees,
In addition to JAM 2024 score, candidates will also have to fulfill eligibility requirements (ERs) and minimum educational qualifications (MEQs) and any other necessary requirements, without any additional interview or written test.
The application fee is non-refundable. As per the refund policy, “In case, the fee amount has been debited (deducted) from your bank account, but JAM 2024 application portal does not receive the information due to communication failure or any such event, then the money will be automatically credited back to your account from which the money was deducted. However, this may take a week or more, after the closure of the application process,” the institute said.
