IIT JEE 2022: How exam preparation for Main and Advanced differs?

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency to conduct the JEE Main 2022 exam in two sessions. JEE Mains 2022 session 1 will be held from June 23 to 29 whereas session 2 exam is scheduled to be held from July 21 to 30 for session 2. On the other hand, IIT Bombay is going to conduct the JEE Advanced 2022 exam on August 28. The most important thing which differs JEE Main preparation from JEE Advance is knowledge of concepts. In the JEE Main exam, most of the questions are usually formula based. However, in case of JEE Advanced exam, questions asked are application and concept based. To score good marks in JEE Advanced 2022, it is important to get knowledge of all the concepts as questions can be asked from any topic with high weightage.

Another important aspect of preparation is calculation speed while attempting the exam. The syllabus for JEE Main and JEE Advanced is same. Candidates need to focus on improving the problem solving speed. The difficulty level of JEE Advanced 2022 will be higher than the JEE Main exam.
