Try NowNEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 result for session 2 tomorrow, April 25. JEE Mains result 2024 will be announced on the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in. JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Result 2024 live.

Along with the JEE Main 2024 session 2 result, NTA will release the overall merit list including names of toppers. The merit list will include All India Rank and All India Category Rank. The AIR will be used for admission to the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), participating institutes and for JEE Advanced 2024 eligibility.
JEE Main Result 2024: How is JEE Main rank list prepared?
As per the JEE Main 2024 information bulletin, the NTA scores for each candidate in session 1 exam as well as session 2 will be merged for the compilation of JEE Mains results 2024 and for the preparation of the JEE Main overall merit list 2024.
The best of the two NTA scores (total) will be considered for preparing results and rank lists for those candidates who appeared in both sessions of JEE Mains exam 2024.
NTA scores will be calculated by normalizing the raw marks secured by the candidates in the exam through the JEE Main normalization method.

In case of a tie, the inter-se merit of such candidates will be determined as per the NTA JEE Main 2024 tie-resolving method which is given below. The tie will be resolved in the descending order:
- NTA score in mathematics
- NTA score in physics
- NTA score in chemistry
- Candidate with less proportion of number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects
- Candidate with less proportion of number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in mathematics
- Candidate with less proportion of number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in physics
- Candidate with less proportion of number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in chemistry
- Candidate older in age
- Candidate’s application number in ascending order
