IIT Jodhpur’s selection procedure includes a written test, skill test followed by an interview.

NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur has invited applications for internships in administrative and technical departments. The graduates, postgraduates and diploma holders applying for the internship need to have completed their degrees within a year from the date of the application. A total of 20 internships have been offered, 10 for each department. The last date for submission of applications is on September 24.
The candidates will have to go through a selection procedure that includes a written test, skill test followed by an interview. The duration of the internship will be from six months to two years and for that duration a consolidated stipend of Rs 25,000 to Rs 35,000 per month will be offered. Further details have been provided on the official website.
The notice says: “These “Interns” shall be given exposure to various administrative and Technical departments, divisions, centers and schools of various verticals within IITJodhpur and would be expected to learn and supplement the process of working of IITJodhpur through their knowledge in respective areas. Therefore, applications are invited from dynamic, tech-savvy and committed fresh graduates, post graduates and diploma holders to serve as Interns (administrative/technical) purely on a temporary basis for a period not exceeding two years.”
The main objective behind offering these internships is to promote the development of recent graduates. These internships will give them exposure in various departments or administrative disciplines in multiple verticals at IIT Jodhpur.

Stimulating the workplace environment to make them competitive.
The “Interns” shall have an opportunity to know about the government functioning, rules and regulations at IIT’s and government of India.
Recent graduates and postgraduates from any field with minimum 60% marks or equivalent and graduates and postgraduates in the final years of their respective programmes with an aggregate of 60 percent in previous semesters.
