IIT Kanpur Placement Drive 2024: 891 jobs offers received in 8 days
Twenty-one students has received international job offers at the IIT Kanpur placement drive 2024 phase 1.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Kanpur) said 891 full-time job offers, including pre-placement offers (PPOs), have been extended to 818 students till December 8 in the first phase of placement drive 2024.
Twenty-one students have been awarded job offer by international companies in the IIT Kanpur placement drive 2024 phase 1. Companies participating in the placement drive includes Microsoft, Fujitsu, Samsung, Reliance, Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Deutsche Bank, Tata Projects, Navi, Uniorbit, ICICI Bank, EXL, NPCL, Intel and TSMC.
Talking about the ongoing placement season, S Ganesh, Director IIT Kanpur, said, “IIT Kanpur has consistently maintained an impressive track record in terms of placement success. I congratulate all the students who have received placements so far and extend my best wishes to those appearing for placements. I also want to thank the dedicated placement cell at IIT Kanpur that plays a pivotal role in ensuring that students are well-prepared for interviews and industry challenges.”

Established in 1959, IIT Kanpur is an Institute of National Importance. The institute has a sprawling lush green campus spread over 1055 acres with large pool of academic and research resources spanning across 19 departments, 25 centers and 3 interdisciplinary programs in engineering, science, design, humanities, and management disciplines with more than 570 full-time faculty members and approximately 9000 students.
