This degree program offers a comprehensive curriculum on data science and analytics applications in business, empowering professionals to harness the power of data for strategic decision-making, the university said.
The applications for the July 2024 batch will remain open till April 30. The eMasters degree programme is designed by the Department of Management Sciences (DoMS) allowing professionals to complete the course in 1 to 3 years. “eMaster graduates can benefit from a credit waiver mechanism while opting for other programs at IIT Kanpur,” it said. The programme also caters to professionals seeking flexibility by providing weekend-only live interactive sessions and self-paced learning.
Additionally, learners will also have exclusive access to the extensive resources of the IIT Kanpur placement cell, incubation center, and alumni network, enhancing career prospects and networking opportunities. It also includes campus visits and an opportunity to engage with faculty and peers.

With a rapid growth in data science, professionals from diverse fields like engineering, management, business, finance, law, and public administration are advancing their careers by learning data science and business analytics, IIT Kanpur said.
