Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IITKGP) has released the GATE 2022 result on the official website at gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Candidates have to fill the enrollment ID and password to download the GATE 2022 result. GATE result date 2022 is March 16. Applicants declared qualified in the GATE results will be eligible for M.Tech courses admissions offered by various institutes.

Pursue post-graduation - The most common reason for candidates to appear for the GATE exam is to pursue post-graduation in NITs, IITs and IIITs across the country. Every institute releases its admission cutoffs, for which every candidate has to qualify along with the qualifying cutoff.
PSU Recruitment through GATE 2022 - Qualifying candidates can also consider the recruitment through GATE in various PSU in India. Many Public Sector Undertakings (PSU) recruit candidates on the basis of GATE scores. It is another reason why many of the candidates appeared for the GATE 2022 exam. PSU offers good salary packages along with job security and various other benefits to their employees.
Study abroad - Candidates who have fulfilled the minimum criteria of the GATE 2022 cutoff can also study abroad for further studies. Universities in countries like Singapore and Germany accept GATE scores for admissions in postgraduate courses in their country.
